Hands on with Camp Snap Pro
Also known as CS-Pro
What is the CS-Pro? It is a digital “toy camera” with Fujifilm style filters that can be easily customized by users. The camera has no screen or electronic viewfinder. You can’t see your images until you copy them to the computer or phone.
My pre-order of the camera arrived yesterday. My first impression is that this camera is 100% plastic and my iPhone is heavier. The mode selection switch feels like it could easily stop working from over use, but the camera functions really well. The shutter is responsive and the camera seems to work exactly as advertised.
I went and shot some landscapes yesterday and tested each of the 4 film simulations. I was able to adjust the final jpg files using Lightroom to help with exposure and contrast. Overall I liked the black and white images and the color images were sharp for a plastic lens. I look forward to testing some new film simulations.
